The structure of this icon is a bit different from any I have done previously as is the look of it. I am not sure what it is about this one that attracted me and made me want to draw it. Maybe it was simply the fact that it is so different from the usual icons.
Even though I have been quite busy over these past weeks, I find that I always will make time to be creative. In fact, on Christmas Day, after Mass, coffee with friends and numerous phone calls, I still turned on the computer so I could work on finishing this drawing. I even took a break from working on this icon and finished up a drawing of an Amaryllis blossom -- which I will include in my next post.In closing tonight, I want to include some cute comments, supposedly from children, regarding angels. Variations of these have been around for a while so you may have read them previously. At any rate, here are 10 of my favourites.
